true or false the Mayan and Aztecs had a good relationship ?

its well accepted that cultures in the Americas had a complex and advanced communication and trade system. Mayans had link with Incas and traded using pacific routes. But the Aztecs were not a small insipid force, they would express themselves as a dominant culture which peaceful at times but merciless at war. There are accounts that show Mayan an Aztec wars.

But there where also times where trade flourished and many crops where exchanged and substantially encounter a symbiosis which grew far. But as most readers wont realize is that these are not contemporary civilizations. They did have wars and trade but 1000 of years before the spanish encounter the Aztecs.
